Most of the phone calls I take start with the same handful of questions. How much is a new boiler? Why does my pressure keep dropping? Is my boiler worth fixing? I've spent 25 years in the trade, the last 12 running C Gill Plumbing & Heating from Briton Ferry, and I'd rather people understood what's going on in their own home before anyone turns up with a quote.
These guides explain things the way I would if I were standing in your kitchen. They won't replace a proper look at your system, and where something needs a Gas Safe registered engineer I say so plainly. But they should help you make sense of the problem, try the safe checks yourself and ask the right questions.
