Bathroom Fitters in Neath

A new bathroom is one of the biggest improvements you can make to a Neath home. We handle the whole job — plumbing, fitting and the finishing — from our base just down the road in Briton Ferry.

Why being down the road helps

A refit lasts days, and halfway through there is nearly always a question — where exactly a niche goes, a tile that needs reordering, an odd pipe behind the plaster. With Neath a few minutes from Briton Ferry, those moments cost an hour, not a week. It also means we can see the job through to the last silicone line without long gaps between trades.

Cimla, Tonna, Skewen and the town

Neath's housing ranges from stone terraces near the town centre and in Melyn to the larger semis of Cimla and Bryncoch. In the older homes the bathroom is often a later addition and the floors are rarely level; in the 1960s and 70s semis it is usually a reasonable size but with a dated layout and a cylinder cupboard taking space.

Either way, Chris looks at what can move. Taking out an unused airing cupboard, for example, can give room for a proper shower enclosure.

Reclaiming the airing cupboard

If you have already switched to a combi boiler, or are planning to, the old hot water cylinder can go. That cupboard often borders the bathroom and can be absorbed into it for a larger shower or storage. It is worth discussing at the survey, especially alongside a combi conversion.

Living with the work

We plan the sequence so the toilet is out of use for as short a time as possible, and we will tell you in advance which days you will be without a shower. Dust sheets go down, waste goes away with us, and you are kept informed day by day.

Common questions

Bathroom Installation FAQs

Clear answers before you arrange a visit.

Can I lose the airing cupboard to make the bathroom bigger?+

Often, if you have or are moving to a combi boiler. Chris will check what is in the cupboard and what can be relocated.

How long will I be without a toilet?+

We plan the work to keep that as short as possible and tell you beforehand which days are affected.

Do you fit bathrooms in Cimla and Bryncoch?+

Yes — the whole of Neath and the surrounding villages are close to our base.

Can I supply my own suite?+

Yes. Tell us the products before you order so Chris can check they suit the room and your water pressure.
